Its performance directly determines whether the fire extinguisher can work normally in an emergency, and it is a core key component to ensure fire safety. The valve is an indispensable core control unit, and its design, material and processing accuracy play a decisive role in the overall safety and reliability of the fire extinguisher. Structurally, the fire extinguisher valve is mainly composed of a valve body, a safety pin, a pressure handle, a sealing component, an injection interface, a pressure feedback device and other parts. Each component works together to realize precise control of the fire extinguishing process. The valve body, as the core bearing component, is equipped with a precision flow channel structure inside to control the circulation and cut-off of the extinguishing agent; the safety pin is a safety protection component, which usually locks the pressure handle to prevent misoperation and needs to be pulled out to start injection when in use; the sealing component is made of special rubber material that is oil-resistant, corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant, ensuring no extinguishing agent leakage under long-term high-pressure storage; the injection interface is used to connect the nozzle or spray cylinder, and can be designed into various forms such as threaded type and quick interface type according to different types of fire extinguishers; the pressure feedback device (usually connected with a pressure gauge) monitors the pressure inside the cylinder in real time and provides data support for daily maintenance. The valve body is forged from high-strength aluminum alloy or copper alloy, and strengthened by heat treatment, which can withstand a test pressure far exceeding the working pressure (usually 1.5 times the working pressure), and can still maintain structural stability in harsh environments such as high temperature and vibration; third, precise control performance. The matching gap between the pressure handle and the valve core is precisely adjusted, with moderate operating force (easy to press by adults), fast injection opening response, and can realize precise control of the injection flow and pressure of the extinguishing agent, ensuring that the extinguishing agent acts on the fire area in the best state. In terms of material selection, each component of the valve uses high-quality materials targeted according to functional requirements: the valve body is made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy or H62 brass. These two materials have both high strength, corrosion resistance and good processing performance. They are made through multiple processes such as forging and CNC precision machining to ensure smooth flow channels and precise dimensions; the seals are made of fluororubber or nitrile rubber. Fluororubber is suitable for high-temperature and strong-corrosion environments (such as CO₂ and fire extinguishers for chemical places), while nitrile rubber is suitable for oil media (such as foam fire extinguishers). Both materials have excellent aging resistance and sealing performance; the pressure handle and safety pin are made of high-strength engineering plastics or stainless steel, with good impact resistance and wear resistance.
